What's the Osolian Constitution?

The Osolian Constitution is the highest law in Osolia. It defines the structure of the Osolian state, guaranteeing certain rights to all Osolians and ensuring stability and good governance.

The Constitution defines the processes by which

• laws are written, debated, and passed

• the Chief and Speaker are elected

• new Osolians may be admitted

among many others.

The Constitution takes precedence over any other law. Anything that goes against the provisions of the Constitution, such as a law that aims to inhibit Osolians' freedom of expression, is unconstitutional and unenforceable.

The Constitution is a living document that the Assembly can amend, though a supermajority (over 66% in favor) must be reached. As of April 2025, it has been amended 6 times.
