Filing a Lawsuit

Generally, disputes among players are expected to be resolved by involved parties. If a dispute cannot be resolved independently, you may file a lawsuit with the Government.

Filing a lawsuit with the Speaker

To file a lawsuit, contact the Speaker of the Assembly and inform them of:

  • who the parties are
  • what the accusation is.

As soon as it can be arranged, a trial will begin. The judicial process is outlined in Article 1 Section 3 of the Osolian Constitution.

Trial process

The Speaker will serve as the judge for most cases, except for when they have a conflict of interest. When the Speaker can't serve as the judge, the Assembly will appoint someone to preside over the case.

Any spectators of the trial can serve as part of the jury, which will deliver a verdict at the end of the proceedings. Jurors who miss more than 2 minutes of the proceedings will generally not be allowed to give a ruling.

The judge will, considering the verdict of the jury, give a final opinion and outcome for the trial, including any penalties, if applicable.
