How to use the Osolia ATM Discord bot

What is Osolia ATM?

Osolia ATM is a Discord bot that manages the Osolia banking system. This bot manages the exchange of diamond cents (DC) between people and even companies.

How do I begin using Osolia ATM?

First of all, you will need Diamond Cents (DC). This can be obtained by exchanging diamonds with the Department of Finance. To learn more, see this article.

Afterwards, a good place to begin to learn every command possible is running the /help command. Run all commands in the #bots channel on the Chiefdom of Osolia Discord server.

How do I transfer money to someone?

Use the /pay command. First of all, type the amount (in DC) that you wish to transfer. Secondly, select the "user" variable. You can now search for the user you want to transfer to like so:

Optionally, you can also attach a "memo" that will allow you and your recipient to better understand why you made a transfer, such as "payment for an item".

You can also choose to use the hidden field to keep your transfer hidden from public view.

Once you're ready, send the message. The bot will respond asking you to make sure you are transferring correctly, as shown below:

Click/tap the Confirm button to continue your transfer. The bot will edit its previous message to confirm a successful transfer:

How do I transfer money to a non-personal account, such as a company or government account?

The steps are mostly the same as above, except that instead of the user field, use account_name. Find out what the account name of your recipient is from your recipient, then type that into the text box.

How do I check my current balance?

Use the /balance command. If you want to hide that balance check, you can also use the hidden variable.
